What did you think of the Twilight movie?
I think that I would have liked it a lot better if I hadn't liked the books so much. I got this idea of what the movie should have been like and how things should be and the movie didn't really live up to those expectations.

What happened was that the book was written such a way that it's really difficult to project it into film. There was a lot of cheesy in the movie and I understood why it was like that. Like the sparkle scene. How do you do that in a not-cheesy way? I don't really think there is a way. I like the movie enough that I want the 3 disc edition and I watch the one I have all the time. I definitely liked the books better (although those have issues too). The story is what I'm in it for... so... Yeah, the movie was okay.
People who went with me who didn't read the book said they thought the movie was better than I thought. I think reading the books had something to do with it. |

yeah. my mom liked the movie way more until i made her read the books. now she understands why i was disappointed in it.
i understand what you are saying about how they couldn't do certain things in a way that people would have thought was right, but some things they just plain did wrong for no reason. like the part where he takes her to prom. alice was supposed to have dressed her all up and stuff and she was at her house... and her dress was nothing like right... and then she put that sweater on *shudders*.
i'm kind of hoping that new moon will be less disappointing.
their is a new director and everything. so maybe. :]

Yeah, I don't think Kristen wanted the sweater (I watched the commentary. lol) but it was too cold.
I realize why they had to change some things though. They always have to. Otherwise it would get kind of long and some things would just seem pointless in the movie. |

yeah. but they took out alice's cuteness and obsession with making people pretty.  i hope they put it in the other ones. yeah. but it seems like they could have come up with something better than the weird sweater over the prom dress. lol. |
